By booking a service with Shift A Car Ltd you are agreeing to be bound by our 'Terms of Use' or 'agreement' under which we supply you our 'services'

At all times Shift A Car Ltd will strive to provide a quality and legal service to it customers. We will endeavour to ensure our partners provide the right level of insurance and operate within UK law. We promise to use our extensive experience, skill and care to provide a world class service at all times.

Website Warranties
Shift A Car Ltd website and all content held within are provided on an "AS IS" basis and is without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Although we take precautions, Shift A Car Ltd website does contain data provided by third parties, and therefore Shift A Car Ltd will not and cannot be held responsible for any third party material such as insurance certificates supplied.

Website Material
The contents of the Shift A Car Ltd website, including but not limited to text, logos, graphics, software, trademarks and other material (the "Material") are protected by copyright and other laws.

Disclaimer of Damages & Limitation of Liability
Any insurance claim will be made against the partner's insurance policy. It is your ultimate responsibility to check the insurance policy is valid and offers appropriate cover for your vehicle(s) before passing possession of your vehicle. Shift A Car Ltd or our partners will not accept any responsibility for additional goods carried inside a vehicle.

Whilst all care is exercised Shift A Car Ltd we will accept no liability (whether in negligence or otherwise) for any loss, loss of opportunity, goodwill, reputation, business, revenue, profit, or savings you expected to make, wasted expenditure or data being lost or corrupted. The disclaimer and limitation includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages and applies whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), common law or statute, regardless of whether Shift A Car Ltd is advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Shift A Car Ltd, our website, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal fees, alleging or resulting from your use of the Material or your breach of the terms of this agreement. Shift A Car Ltd will provide notice to you promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and shall reasonably assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding. This indemnity shall survive termination of the Agreement.

Policy on Booking fees, Deposits, Payments and Invoices
Shift A Car Ltd may request a booking deposit or full payment to secure the necessary vehicle transport or delivery resource required to move your vehicle(s). When requested an invoice will be emailed to you. Any deposit will be deducted from the quoted amount to move your vehicle(s) payable on delivery or otherwise agreed.

Policy on Cancellations and Refunds
From time to time Shift A Car Ltd may request a deposit or full payment before undertaking work on your behalf. A full payment refund will only be provided if written notification is received 3 business days (72 hours) prior to 8am of the agreed collection date. A 50% refund of a full payment will be provided if written notification is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior 8am of the agreed collection date.

You hereby accept and irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We reserve the right to update these 'terms of use' at any time. The last update was on 11th October 2007.
